Hi Heather!! Thank you :) I think when I made these I made them into balls first then I kind of flattened out the lip on the bottom to look like the helmet. I think I flattened the ball out and used my fingers going around to flatten it, and pushed some of the dough out to give it the lid (I don't know the technical word for it). I hope this didn't confuse you. Then I dipped the sticks in chocolate and then into the cakepop and let them set up in the fridge for about an hour. Once they were set, then I proceeded to dip the whole cake pop in chocolate and went from there. I hope I answered your question and let me know how you made out. I'd love to see a pic :)
